Trophy Fishing Tackle was founded in 2008 by John Nappo and Joe Santonastaso — two anglers who knew there was a better way to get serious saltwater gear than walking into a big-box store and talking to someone who'd never been on the water.

From day one, the idea was simple: provide real guidance alongside the gear. Not just sell equipment, but help anglers understand what they actually need. The right lb test, the right rig, and the right setup for the species they're chasing.
