Super-thick, closed-cell EVA foam back pads are engineered to maximize both comfort and leverage in a fighting belt. Co-molded to the foam back pads are heavy-duty, yet lightweight gold-anodized, stamped aluminum front plates. Super durable, they feature posts at each side that accept unique Quick Clips, which snap the belt straps (or optional drop straps) in place for quickly getting into or out of the fighting belt. The belts also feature super strong, molded glass-filled nylon gimbal pockets which are engineered to quickly guide rod butts into an optimum fish-fighting position. The gimbal pocket's stainless steel pin is adjustable for horizontal or vertical orientation on the Clarion and Socorro fishing belts.

The Alijos(tm) fighting belt is designed for use with 20-lb. to 50-lb.lines and is the perfect "day belt" for stand-up fishing sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, small tuna, yellowtail and other smaller to medium-sized gamefish. The stainless steel gimbal cross pin is removable, but unique is the thermal-formed nylon liner inside the aluminum gimbal pocket that helps resist scarring. The Alijos(tm) fishing belt is lightweight and easy to wear, yet offers the same heavy-duty features of the larger AFTCO fighting belts.

The Socorro(tm) Fighting Belt is designed for use with 50-lb. to 80-lb. tackle, and can be positioned a bit higher across the thighs for maximum leverage. For stand-up fishing, this is the ideal belt for battling big strong gamefish like tuna, marlin, wahoo and big yellowtail. Accommodating "Quick Clip" straps, the Socorro(tm) fishing belt also matches up well with AFTCO MaxForce(tm) harnesses, measuring 15.5 inches wide by 10 inches tall.

The Clarion(tm) is the ultimate fish fighting belt for big game fishing. The super-thick, closed-cell EVA foam back pad is engineered to maximize both comfort and leverage, so that when the belt is positioned relatively low across the thighs, the load is distributed evenly for maximum pull when fighting big fish stand-up style. It features posts at each side that accept unique Quick Clips, which "snap" the belt straps (or optional drop straps) in place for quickly getting into or out of the belt. Also featured is a super strong, molded glass-filled nylon gimbal pocket that is engineered to quickly guide rod butts into an optimum fish-fighting position. The gimbal pocket's stainless steel pin is adjustable for horizontal or vertical orientation. A perfect match for the AFTCO MAXFORCE harnesses, the Clarion(tm) fighting belt measures 19 inches wide by 13 inches high, and if it falls overboard, it floats!
