Unleash Deadly Action with the Crippled Herring Lure – The Original and Still the Best! For decades, the Crippled Herring has been a secret weapon for anglers targeting a vast array of predatory fish. This iconic, versatile metal jig perfectly mimics a wounded baitfish, triggering an irresistible feeding frenzy from species across fresh and saltwater environments.

Crafted with a heavy, hydrodynamic body, the Crippled Herring delivers exceptional casting distance, allowing you to reach distant busting schools or deep-holding fish with ease. Its precisely engineered design produces an erratic, fluttering, and wounded baitfish action on the retrieve or descent – an irresistible visual cue that predatory fish simply cannot ignore.

Whether you're casting and retrieving, vertical jigging, or even trolling, the Crippled Herring excels. Its robust construction ensures durability against toothy critters and rocky structures, while the highly reflective chrome finish (and various painted patterns) creates maximum flash and attraction, even in murky conditions. Each lure comes equipped with sharp, strong hooks to ensure solid hook-ups and secure landings.

The Crippled Herring is a proven performer for a wide range of species including tuna, mackerel, bonito, striped bass, bluefish, salmon, trout, snappers, trevally, and more. Its compact yet weighty profile makes it ideal for reaching depths quickly or punching through windy conditions.
