Mustad Heavy Duty J-Assist 2 Jigging Assist Rig
Set up for deep-sea jigging with the Mustad Heavy Duty J-Assist 2 Rig. A heavy-duty Kevlar loop connects to a wide-gap Mustad hook, giving you an assist-hook option for the connecting end of your jig.
When rigged at the top of a jig, the hook sits near its head and belly, where fish may strike. Without a traditional tail treble, this setup can also help reduce snags. Green tinsel dresses the hook to create a visible strike point as the jig moves through the water.
