An iconic blend of performance and power, the CoreSolid series of spinning reels represent Shimano's continued pursuit of providing anglers with highly-rigid, ultra-durable products that heighten performance and enjoyment on the water.

The latest addition to the CoreSolid series, TWINPOWER FE, reimagines rigidity with the introduction of a unique dual-material body construction. A combination of aluminum and Shimano's proprietary carbon fiber-reinforced CI4+ technology creates a platform that eliminates flex or play in the body of the reel, providing additional power while battling big fish. Inside TWINPOWER FE, proven top-shelf technologies like Infinity Drive and InfinityXcross offer exceptionally light winding under heavy load and efficient distribution of force over gear tooth surfaces to significantly improve durability. The addition of InfinityLoop technology delivers improved casting performance by creating a precise winding pattern with minimal overlap, drastically reducing friction on the line leaving the spool. DuraCross — Shimano's latest advancement in drag technology — provides smoothness and durability without sacrificing consistency in drag pull. Primed to perform in any power finesse situation, TWINPOWER FE features premium technologies wrapped in Shimano's most rigid CoreSolid body yet.
